Night Buses

Everything you need to know about our night buses is here. We are introducing services that run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from Sunday 31 August! 

Bus travel is the ideal way to enjoy nights out in town, catch your early train connections or travel to and from night shifts. Whether you're an early bird or night owl, we've got you covered. Find all the details below:

There are four different night bus routes on offer:

N1 - SOUTHAMPTON > BASSETT > CHANDLER'S FORD > UNIVERSITY OF WINCHESTER > WINCHESTER

Runs every Friday and Saturday nights and follows the Bluestar 1 route.

N2 - SOUTHAMPTON > PORTSWOOD > HIGHFIELD > SWAYTHLING > PORTSWOOD > SOUTHAMPTON (Starts 31 August)

Runs 7 nights a week.

N17 - NURSLING INDUSTRIAL ESTATE > ADANAC PARK > LORDSHILL > GENERAL HOSPITAL > SHIRLEY > CITY CENTRE > WOOLSTON > WESTON (Starts 31 August)

Runs 7 nights a week and follows the Bluestar 17 route. It additionally serves Nursling Industrial Estate.

N18 - MILBROOK > SHIRLEY > CITY CENTRE > BITTERNE > THORNHILL (Starts 31 August)

Runs 7 nights a week and follows the Bluestar 18 route. Some late night journeys from Millbrook terminate in the city centre on Bargate Street.

All single trips on our night buses are just £3. Make use of our tap on tap off service to board with ease - plus there's no need for a paper ticket.
