Friends of King Alfred Buses Running Day 1 May

Visit Winchester this Bank Holiday, Monday 1 May, to attend the running day of the historic buses that worked for King Alfred, thanks to the heritage charity "Friends of King Alfred Buses". The event will be centered at Winchester Broadway - catch the Bluestar 1 and alight at the bus station, to arrive a short walk away from your destination. 

All available King Alfred vehicles will be present as well as vehicles that are privately owned so there will be a fantastic variety of buses to see. They will also have a "Transport Bazaar" in Busket Yard which adjoins the bus station. Whether you're a self-proclaimed bus enthusiast, or just looking for something a bit different to do this weekend, this will be a great day out!
