From Tuesday 4th January, there are several changes taking place to our services, so we can remain as reliable as possible for you.  The number of COVID cases has been rising in the communities where we live and a knock-on effect of this is that an increasing number our colleagues are absent through isolation. 

This is only a temporary reduction and as soon as we are able we will increase these timetables back to their former frequencies. For the latest service information direct to your phone and for live bus tracking, download the Bluestar bus app.

From Tuesday 4th January 2022:

  • Bluestar 1
    • Monday to Friday daytime – reduced from every 15mins to 20mins
    • Saturday daytime – reduced from every 15mins to every 30mins
  • Bluestar 2
    • Monday to Friday daytime – reduced from every 15mins to 20mins
    • Saturday daytime – reduced from every 15mins to every 30mins
  • Bluestar 4: The 07:55 from Southampton has been retimed with extra running time for Schooldays, and retimed to 08:00 on School Holidays. Additionally, the 09:00 from Romsey has been retimed to 09:05, running 5 minutes later to Southampton. This is a permanent change.
  • Bluestar 8 Bluestar 9
    • Bluestar 8 will terminate at Hythe with Bluestar 9 extending to Calshot every day, with subsequent changes to journey times.
  • Bluestar 11/12 combined
    • Monday to Friday daytime – reduced from every 10mins to every 15mins
    • Saturday daytime – reduced from every 10mins to every 15mins
  • Bluestar 16
    • Monday to Friday daytime – reduced from every 15mins to 20mins
    • Saturday daytime – reduced from every 15mins to 30mins
  • Bluestar 17
    • Monday to Friday daytime – reduced from every 10mins to 12mins
    • Saturday daytime – reduced from every 10mins to 15mins
  • Bluestar 18
    • Monday to Friday daytime – reduced from every 10mins to 12mins
    • Saturday daytime – reduced from every 10mins to 15mins
