For U2 use stops in Burgess Road or Glen Eyre Road. For U6C use the stop on Burgess Road near the Library, for U6H use the stop on Burgess Road next to Violet Road. Bluestar N2 & UniLink U6C/H DIVERSION - Portswood Road closed from Mayfield Road to Woodmill Lane from Monday 26th October 2026 until TBC. Buses will divert from Burgess Road via Thomas Lewis Way to rejoin route at Portswood Road (Machine Mart) in both directions. Towards city centre stops Swaythling McDonalds and Woodmill Lane will not be served. Towards Highfield for U6H Mayfield Road and Woodmill Lane will not be served. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Buses towards town will divert via Above Bar Street, Pound Tree Road, Hanover Buildings to pick up and drop off at Vincents Walk. Bluestar 1, N1, 2 & N2 Christmas Market diversion from Friday 6th November 2026 until Monday 5th January 2027. Buses towards town will divert via Above Bar Street, Pound Tree Road and Hanover Buildings to use a temporary bus stop outside of Bella Italia. Buses heading out of the city will pick up at Bella Italia and then continue normal route from Above Bar Street. We apologise for any inconvenience.
