Bluestar is getting BIGGER!

We need qualified bus drivers for our expanding network of bus routes in Southampton. If you currently work for First City Redsand are looking for a new job after February 18th, we want to hear from you.

We're holding recruitment events at the Leonardo Grand Harbour Hotel (a few mins walk from Vincents Walk), in Boardroom 1 on the mezzanine level (follow signs from reception) between 12 and 16 December and 19 and 23 December 2022 (09.30-16.30).

We're looking for:

• Fully qualified bus drivers with valid PCV licence and DQC
• Drivers with full route knowledge of First City Reds routes 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 13
• A customer focussed attitude​​​
• People available to start on Sunday 19 February 2023

We offer:

• Guaranteed employment from 19th February, if you’re signed-up before the end of December
• A pay rise! From 1 January £14 per hour for your first 40 hours and £17.50 for overtime
• 28-days paid holiday, increasing to 33-days after 2-years employment.

• £2k joining bonus. Conditions apply*
• Stable employment with Southampton’s largest bus company

Drivers can just turn up, and should bring with them their driving licence, driver qualification card (CPC) and Right to Work documents.

*Bonus of £2k is paid as £500 in your first wage, £500 after 6-months and £1k after 12-months.
