These seasonal summer routes run on Sundays only and are ideal for anyone that loves long weekend walks. Experience incredible local landmarks, breathtaking views, fine pubs and quaint villages, all on these Sunday bus routes. We have two routes for you to choose from:

The South Downs Rambler runs from Winchester to Petersfield and back again via the Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium, the views at Cheesefoot Head, the gardens of Hinton Ampner, the Iron Age fort at Old Winchester Hill, Butser Hill, the second highest point in the South Downs National Park and Queen Elizabeth Country Park.

You can connect with the South Downs Rambler in Winchester with Bluestar 1.

The Test Valley Rambler takes a scenic route from Romsey to Andover passing through small villages and visiting plenty of landmarks and attractions along the way including Houghton Lodge Gardens, Stockbridge High Street, Danebury Iron Age Hill Fort and the Army Flying Museum. True to its name, this route follows sections of the River Test making it the ideal route to travel on if you'd like to walk a stretch of the Test Way. Whether you're looking to discover a new place, head out on a walk or have a tipple in a quaint pub, this is the route for you.

It is easy to connect with this service either at Romsey Bus Station with the Bluestar 4, Romsey railway station, or in Andover from the railway station and other local bus services.

Our Ramblers run on Sundays only between 27 July and 14 September and will run 3 trips per day. They will also run on Bank Holiday Monday 25 August.
