£1 evening fare extended

Great news! Our £1 evening fare has been extended to at least March 2026.

You can enjoy evening bus travel with us on any route, in any zone for just £1 after 6pm.

We have worked with Southampton City Council and Hampshire County Council to secure funding through the Government's Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP), giving us the opportunity to extend this offer.

Buses have the potential to take many cars off our road and mean you can leave yours at home. Hop on and use tap on tap off, the easiest way to pay your fare. You will only be charged £1 each way after 6pm. 

This offer isn't only restricted to Southampton, you can travel on any route in any zone. We know many people enjoy evening out in nearby Winchester and is available on our Bluestar 1 service, which is now served by a fleet of brand new double deckers.
