Our City and Southampton Zones are merging...

From Sunday 3 September, the promotional "City" Zone will be withdrawn and merged with our Southampton Zone. We are therefore lowering the price of several of the Southampton Zone period tickets to compensate. Many of the Southampton Zone period tickets will now be cheaper than before, and even more so if you buy them on the app! Removing this fare zone will simplify travel within the city.

For regular travellers and best value, we recommend you buy your tickets on the Bluestar mobile app, or if you only travel occasionally, make use of our tap on tap off service where the best fare will be automatically calculated for you.

All single bus fares are currently capped at £2 until 31 October, thanks to the Department for Transport scheme which is funded by UK Government, so for most single journeys, this is the best option.
