Live train times added to next stop screens

People travelling with us across the region will now have on-board access to train times - thanks to an addition to our next stop screens. 

We already provide ‘next stop’ announcements and visual screens on-board our buses, so passengers know when they have reached their destinations. Now, we have been able to  add live train times to the screens which we hope will  make it even easier for those on-board to complete onward train travel.

"This is a particularly busy time of year on the buses and trains - and it’s great to see so many people opting for sustainable transport,” said Bluestar head of communications, Nikki Honer. 

“With this in mind, we’ve added live train time information to all the ‘next stop’ screens on-board our buses that stop near railway stations. We hope this will make people’s journeys easier than ever.

“We’re looking forward to a record number of passengers travelling with us over the coming days, and we’d like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy and peaceful New Year.”
