Jump on board for Clean Air Day!

We'll be marking Clean Air Day, this Thursday, by encouraging people to leave the car at home and take the bus with us.

At Bluestar, we are committed to helping reduce congestion and improving air quality in the region. We have been working on this in a number of ways over recent years - including investing in a new fleet of greener vehicles and installing solar panels on our vehicles to trialling the World’s first air filtering bus.

Buses have the potential to take many cars off the road - and there are financial benefits too. It's still just £2 for single journeys across our region, thanks to the current fare cap.

Our new buses have more comfortable seating, USB charging points for smartphone and tablet users, accept mobile phone payments as well as contactless and tap on, tap off. They also sport the very latest Euro 6 low emissions engines.

Like the Government, we want to help reduce congestion across the Southampton area - and what better time to consider changing your travel habits, than on Clean Air Day?
