Improving Travel Connections Over Northam Bridge

Southampton City Council, together with Network Rail, needs your help to get government funding to replace the Northam Rail Bridge. 

This bridge is very important because it's one of the main ways of getting into the city including to the local schools in the area, so replacing it is crucial to keeping Southampton connected and growing.

Many of our routes (Bluestar 3, 14, 16 & 18) use the bridge to get in and out of the city and these works, which include improved bus lanes, will significantly improve journey time.

By supporting this project, you'll help create new chances for economic growth, better travel options, and improved public transport. The new bridge will provide safer paths for walking and biking, reduce traffic and pollution, and make it easier to travel between different areas.
