Get out and about this Easter Holidays by bus with the family. Bus travel doesn't cost a lot and we've put together a list of egg-citing activities all accessible by bus in the local area:
- Take part in Southampton's Old Town Easter Trail, taking place from Saturday 28 March - Sunday 12 April. It's FREE and fun for all the family. Collect a trail map from our travel shop and find the colourful posters displayed in shop windows and venues around Southampton. Write them down as you go to help the Easter Bunny plan a tea party for his friends. Once you've found them all, head over to HMV to collect a small prize for your hard work. Any of our buses that serve the City Centre will get you where you need to be!
- Catch 'The One' to Winchester for their Bunny Hop trail, for kids and big kids alike from the 28 March - 12 April. Using the map, search for 9 Easter themed words as you hop around the historic streets. Then you can return your completed trail sheet to collect a little treat. Your sheet will also count as an entry into a draw to win an Easter inspired hamper. Trail sheets are made available to the Winchester Visitor Information Centre, Winchester City Museum and The Arc.
- SeaCity Museum and their other cultural venues are putting on a host of spring activities during the school holidays. From arts and crafts to hands on history, there's something for everyone. Click here to find a list of all their activities. Jump off any of our buses that serve the City Centre to get here.
- Have some outdoor Easter fun at Southampton City Farm from 31 March - 18 April. Every Tuesday to Friday, visit the farm and enjoy crafts, their Easter trail and animal handling. The farm is easily accessible on the Bluestar 4 and 7. Visit their website to find out more.
