Representatives from Go South Coast - the bus company that operates Bluestar - are gearing up for a mammoth task next month, when they tackle the Three Peaks challenge.

The popular endurance event sees participants attempt to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales within a 24 hour period.

“A group of us from Bluestar and the wider Go South Coast team - as well as some representatives from our parent company the Go-Ahead Group - will attempt this feat in memory of our late managing director, Andrew Wickham,” said Ed Wills, Go South Coast managing director.

“Andrew passed away last year following a long battle with cancer. So, it is fitting that we take part in the Three Peaks Challenge on the weekend of the 6 June 2026 - which is close to the first anniversary of Andrew’s death.

“We will be raising money for Cancer Research, at the request of Andrew’s family, so the team has been training hard to ensure we can donate as much as possible to this vital charity.”
