Diversion due to Southbound closure of Station Hill Eastleigh

Due to a last minute closure of Southampton Road Station Hill from Monday 9 October, our services in Eastleigh will be significantly disrupted over the next two weeks. This is in addition to the ongoing closure of the Leigh Road between the rail station and the bus station. Southampton Road Station Hill will be closed Southbound for this period between the Lidl Roundabout and the rail station. Please see below for how our services will be affected:

Bluestar 2 towards Fair Oak - Will remain unchanged and will pick up/drop off at the Swan Centre, opposite the Rail Station.

Bluestar 2 towards Southampton - Will pick up/drop off at a temporary stop on Leigh Road (near the junction of the Sainsbury's car park). The service will then divert via Leigh Road and Passfield Avenue to Nightingale Avenue and will not serve stops along Southampton Road or Derby Road. The next nearest stop will be Nightingale Bridge.

Bluestar 3 - Will pick up/drop off from the coach stop by Sainsbury's car park.

Bluestar 5 towards Boyatt Wood- Will pick up/drop off from the coach stop by the Sainsbury's car park.

Bluestar 5 towards Romsey - Will pick up/drop off from the coach stop by the Sainsbury's car park, then divert via Leigh Road and Passfield Avenue and will not serve the regular stops on Southampton Road and Chestnut Avenue, between Eastleigh Rail Station and Nightingale Avenue. The next nearest stop will be Nightingale Bridge.

Bluestar 23 - Will pick up/drop off from the coach stop inside Sainsbury's car park.

Bluestar 24 - Will pick up from the coach stop inside Sainsbury's car park then divert via Leigh Road to Passfield Avenue and will not serve the normal stops along Southampton Road or Derby Road towards Hedge End. The next nearest stop will be Cedar Road on Passfield Avenue. No alterations towards Eastleigh, other than the final stop being Sainsbury's Car Park, rather than the bus station.

Unilink U1C - Journeys starting from Eastleigh won't be able to serve Eastleigh Bus Station or the Rail Station, Campbell Road or Derby Road. Journeys will start in the Sainsbury's car park.

We expect significant delays to Bluestar 2 due to this so we suggest you get an earlier bus if possible to compensate for this.

DUE TO THE EXTREMELY SHORT NOTIFICATION BY HAMPSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THIS CLOSURE, OUR WEBSITE AND APP TIMETABLES, JOURNEY PLANNER AND VEHICLE TRACKING WILL NOT SHOW CORRECTLY DURING THIS TIME! 

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this closure, unfortunately, it is totally outside of our control. We will, however, have a supervisor on hand at Sainsbury's Car Park bus stop to assist customers.
