Update: Barton Peveril services are restarting from 15th March when the college is due to reopen.

The maps, timetables and prices for the 2020/21 academic year can be found below.

There are changes to all routes and timetables to accommodate the revised structure of the college day and expected student attendance patterns, so please check the details carefully. We will be working with the college to continuously review these services during the course of the year, to ensure that the service level is optimised for student travel patterns and for any changes to the college's coronavirus plans and levels of in-person student attendance.

There will also now be dedicated college buses from the areas normally served by Bluestar 2 and Bluestar 5 - capacity on Bluestar 2 and Bluestar 5 will be limited due to social distancing requirements, so students are advised to use the new dedicated college services (numbered 605, 682 and 692) whenever possible. Details can be found below.

For travel from areas not shown below, please visit the Barton Peveril College website.

Annual Passes:

A special network pass for Barton Peveril students is available at a price of £350 for the 2020-21 academic year, payable as a single payment at the time of purchase. This lower-than-normal price is being subsidised by the college in light of the uncertainty surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic and its potential impact on student attendance patterns. This pass is only available to Barton Peveril students, and gives unlimited travel on our college routes plus all of our other services, including at weekends and during college holidays (except the summer holidays).

We strongly recommend purchasing this pass as mobile ticket on our clickit2ride mobile app, where it will be available for purchase from early August. Alternatively, it can be purchased as a smartcard via our scholars pass website. Please be aware that you cannot purchase these tickets from the bluestar travel shop.

The annual pass is generally non-refundable. Full or partial refunds will be at our discretion and will only be considered in exceptional circumstances, for example a student leaving the college. College confirmation of the circumstances will be required before any refund can be considered.

Other Ticket Options:

On the 605, 682, and 692 the normal Bluestar 2 or Bluestar 5 ticket range is available.

On all of the other college routes single and return tickets are available priced at £4 single or £7 return, and a weekly ticket is available priced at £30. However in most cases the annual pass will offer much better value.

Please note that all routes on this page are open to Barton Peveril College students only. Students purchasing tickets on board will need to show their college ID.
