The Hat Fair takes place in the streets of Winchester every year and features a range of street performances throughout the event. This family friendly festival celebrates all things street performance and outdoor arts and is FREE to attend. Performers do hand around their hats at the end of their acts asking for tips - hence the name the Hat Fair! Take in the vibrant atmosphere and enjoy the talent, arts and culture that it has to share.
The day (FREE to attend) consists of two jam-packed dates of arts and culture all around Winchester city centre with some of the world’s most spectacular street performers.
Hop on the Bluestar 1 which takes you right in the heart of the entertainment. From Southampton to Winchester city centre running up to every 15 minutes, . Plus all single bus fares are just £3!
