The Winchester Round Table bonfire and fireworks night is returning for another year in the heart of the city. The event commences with the food festival, then a torchlit procession at 6pm up the high street. The bonfire is lit at around 7:15 with the main event Fireworks starting at 7:45pm. The event is not run for profit, all profits to go to the Winchester Round Table Charitable Trust Fund to help local people who really need it.
A variety of hot food, drinks and sweets will be available on-site. There will be an on-site bar for the purchase of local beers and lagers. Throughout the evening there will be live music and performances.
The One for Everyone can drop you off right in the heart of Winchester with buses up to every 10 minutes and runs up to every 30 minutes from 19.25 till midnight before turning into the N1 night bus. Single fares are just £3 and up to 2 kids under 5 travel free with a paying adult so bus travel is the way to go. Plus fares are capped at £1 after 6pm*!
