January 2024 - Susan O'Sullivan

Susan won this award for going above and beyond to help a passenger with dementia who boarded her bus and didn't know where she was. She didn't get off the bus when it reached Southampton and was very confused, so she took her to the police station and stayed with her until a relative could come and pick her up.

February 2024 - Aaron King

Aaron won this award for going above and beyond to help a lady who fell and hit her head after getting off of his bus. He saw it happen and ran to her aid, called an ambulance and waited with her until it arrived.

March 2024 - Philip Berry

Phil won this award for going above and beyond to help out the University last minute, making sure customers could get their tickets to travel. He stayed outside work hours, and this is just one example of the hard work that he puts in day to day!

April 2023 - Mark Cottrell

Mark won this award for consistently providing exceptional customer service. He had several nominations over the stretch of a few months and we couldn't let his hard work go unrecognised!

May 2023 - Norbert Wozniak

Unilink driver with a star of the month certificate

Norbert received this award for performing life saving CPR on a passenger after they had a heart attack on his bus. He is a true hero!

June 2023 - Kyle Harfield

Kyle won this award for going above and beyond. He allowed a young girl to stay on his bus after she got on the wrong service to go home. He dropped her as close to home as possible whilst staying on route and lent her his personal phone so that she could contact her parents. He kept her safe and ensured that she got home.

July 2023 - Jason Barwick

Jason won this award for helping an elderly lady who had a fall whilst boarding his bus resulting in a broken leg. He rang an ambulance and her family, and stayed with her until they arrived. Alongside this, he called to see how she was doing later on. 

August 2023 - Daniel Kunicki

Daniel won this award for going above and beyond by caring for a customer when she fell and got injured boarding his bus. He made sure that his other passengers were transferred onto another bus and took her to the hospital, waiting with her until she got the assistance she needed.

September 2023 - Leah Bull

Leah won this award for staying calm in a situation where a lady collapsed on her bus. She kept everyone on her bus updated on the situation and made them all feel comfortable whilst advising them on travel alternatives.

October 2023 - Joanne Surtees

Joanne won this award for displaying excellent customer service. It has been noticed how smart and professional she looks and how she greets every customer with a smile. It is clear that she enjoys her job and there has also been comments on her excellent standard of driving

November 2023 - Dean Marinkovic

Dean won this award for performing CPR on a passenger after they collapsed on his bus. Thank you for going above and beyond and doing all that you could before the paramedics arrived.
