Dayrider bus tickets ensure you get best value and are available for our different fare zones – 'Southampton', 'Southampton Plus' & 'Network'.
- The best value day ticket is available using tap on tap off contactless with the driver
- Multi-trip or muliti day tickets are available via our mobile app - bluestar bus app
Group tickets are available too; a group is up to any 5 people travelling together. Please note, a maximum of 2 children under the age of 5 can travel for free with one group ticket.
If you only use the bus now and again multi-trip tickets are great, as these tickets don't have to be used consecutively.
Southampton Zone
Unlimited travel on any Bluestar or Unilink bus within the Southampton Zone, which is bounded by the M271 in the West and M27 in the north but also includes Southampton Airport and Nursling Industrial Estate. Excludes night buses N1, N2, N17, N18, U1N.

Southampton zone multi-trip single tickets
A cheaper way of buying single bus trips; each time you travel one journey is deducted.
These tickets must be used within 12 months of purchase. Multi-trip tickets are available on bluestar bus app for use in the Southampton zone only.

Southampton Plus Zone
Unlimited travel on any Bluestar or Unilink bus within the Southampton Plus zone which includes the Southampton zone, plus Totton, Chandler’s Ford, Eastleigh, Fair Oak, Hedge End, Netley and Hamble. Excludes night buses N1, N2, N17, N18, U1N.

Solent Go
The Solent Go travelcard allows travel in the South Hampshire area on any of the following travel operators: Bluestar, Unilink, Salisbury Reds, First, Stagecoach, Wheelers and Xelabus.
Restrictions:
- On Bluestar 6: Valid only between Southampton - Ashurst.
- Cannot be used on Quayconnect or night buses (U1N).
- On Salisbury Reds X7/X7R: Valid only between Southampton city and Canada Corner (X7) or Romsey (X7R).
Tickets are available to buy on our mobile app. Paper tickets aren't available from the driver, only from the Bluestar travel shop in the form of 1 or 7 day tickets.

Solent Go introduce carnet tickets
From 12th April customers will be able to buy carnet Solent Go tickets via our mobile app.
- The Southampton zone Saver 5 day carnet is £27
- The Solent Region zone Saver 5 day carnet is £45
