'Bobbies On The Bus' is returning
Bluestar first teamed up with Hampshire Constabulary for a trial back in July 2019 to make police services even more accessible to those living in Totton and surrounding areas, and get chatting as part of the companies wider Chatty Bus scheme, designed to help combat loneliness.
Following previously successful sessions, we're going to be regularly welcoming uniformed police officers on-board our vehicles - giving passengers the opportunity to chat to them or ask questions about issues or concerns in their local community.
Local 'Bobby On The Bus', PCSO Connor De Mornay described the program as: “An excellent opportunity for us to become more visible and accessible within the local area. Sometimes, local people may have questions or concerns but don’t have time to come and see us. This way, they can have a chat whilst they are travelling to work or to the shops.
On the table below you can find more information regarding dates, routes and times of our future 'Bobbies On The Bus' sessions.
