Bargate Street Changes

From Sunday 2nd June, there will be a change to the way the bus stops at Bargate Street operate for our Bluestar 3, 16 and 18 services towards Bitterne...

Currently, Bluestar 3 and 16 serve the front stop (Stop BL), whilst Bluestar 18 serves the second stop (Stop BM).

But, following research and feedback, from Sunday 2nd June, these stops will be merged into one long stop, much like how Bluestar 1 and Bluestar 2 operate at Hanover Buildings.

Whilst most Bluestar 3 and 16 customers may not see much difference, it means customers for Bluestar 18 may now prefer to wait in the other bus shelter, as buses will pull to the front of the stop, and subsequent arrivals will queue up behind.

Please check the destination on the front or side of the bus before boarding, or if you are in any doubt, just ask the driver.
