The New Forest Tour returns

Visitors to the New Forest will once again have the chance to feast their eyes on the very best the National Park has to offer - thanks to the return of the New Forest Tour.
Our open-top buses, which will run from Saturday 5 July until Sunday 14 September, offer a panoramic perspective on the area’s beautiful heathland, spectacular coast and picturesque villages - not to mention the famous wandering ponies and an abundance of other wildlife.
Run in partnership with the New Forest National Park Authority, the Tour welcomed almost 35,000 passengers last year - with many choosing to leave their cars at home and enjoy the many delights along the three different routes. Our team is very much looking forward to transporting local people and visitors across this wonderful part of the country.
We offer three routes - red, green and blue - each giving a unique perspective of the New Forest, with both countryside and coast to enjoy. You can hop on and off all three routes throughout your day out on just one ticket.
Whilst on-board, passengers can hear stories of the people, places and animals of the New Forest via our audio commentary - with characters, sounds and music bringing these incredible views to life. The New Forest is blessed with an array of attractions, eateries and other hidden gems - so there is plenty to enjoy for those using our one, two or five day tickets. It’s also a great way to see the area whilst using sustainable transport - helping to reduce congestion here.
Aynsley Clinton, sustainable visitor experience officer at New Forest Park Authority, added: “Viewing the spectacular New Forest from the top deck really is the best way to get around and have a great day out.
“Last summer, exploring the National Park on the New Forest Tour instead of by car saved an estimated 200,000 private car miles - helping to protect this beautiful environment.
“The Tour also provides a boost to local businesses, contributing an estimated £567,000 to the New Forest economy while stopping at local villages and visitor attractions last year.”
Highlights along the tour routes include the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Exbury Gardens, all the delights of Lyndhurst, Lymington, Burley and Brockenhurst and the New Forest Wildlife Park.
Passengers can track live departure times via our app - which is also handy for buying tickets and planning journeys.
