Bluestar Community Fund - January 2019
Back in January 2019, we opened our Community fund for the first ever round of applications. We received more than 80, so it was very tough to choose between the many great causes and worthwhile charities/organisations.
One of the selected organisations was Southampton Mencap, who we helped by providing free bus passes to trainers, so they could accompany vulnerable passengers in their care on journeys. More information.
Waterside Street Pastors
We lent our support to Waterside Street Pastors - an important local service aimed at helping those who find themselves in need of emotional or practical support whilst on weekend nights out. More information.
Dibden Allotment Fund
Dibden Allotment Fund are a charity supporting those who themselves in need, hardship or distress in the Hythe, Dibden, Fawley and Marchwood areas, and we more than doubled their bulk buy order of Lepe Beach group tickets purchased, to give the people they help, a nice family day out that they otherwise would not have been able to afford.
Totton Arts Festival
Totton Arts Festival is a free event held every May, and as part of their fundraising efforts, we were more than happy to donate bus passes to the list of prizes
