If you only travel now and again, a single or return ticket is your best bet.
Pay your driver using cash. It speeds up boarding if you have the right money, but our drivers are happy to give you change.
If you’re going to use a number of our buses in the same day our unlimited day tickets are ideal.

Under 16s can travel anywhere, anytime for only £1 single, £1.50 return. An U16 ID card is also available, free of charge, to help you avoid any age squabbles. Get one from the Bluestar Box on Bargate Street or Southampton Tourist Information Centre.

There’s one fare for any one ride on our Nightstar services. On Nightstar N1, N2 and N9 it costs £3 and on Nightstar N6, N18 and N19 the fare is £2. Returns and passes are not accepted on Nightstar.
