This Sunday 25 July there will be route changes in Southampton city centre due to the Sky ride cycling event.

The following diversions and revised stopping arrangements will take place on the following routes:

Bluestar 1 & 2 will start from Castle Way and run via Civic Centre, New Road, East Park Terrace, Charlotte Place and Dorset Street to The Avenue. After Civic Centre we will stop in New Road, East Park Terrace near Solent University and at a temporary stop in Dorset Street near Ordnance Road – we will then run non-stop to The Cowherds public house (Bluestar 1) or Lodge Road (Bluestar 2) before resuming normal routes. We will run the opposite route inbound to the City Centre.

Bluestar 3 & Bluestar 18 to Thornhill will start from Castle Way rather than Bargate Street.

Bluestar 18 to Millbrook will start in Castle Way and run via Havelock Road to Central Station before resuming normal route.

We will have staff in place at various points to help assist you in finding your nearest stop.

All other services will run from their normal stops and to the normal route but may be held up in additional traffic caused by the road closures.
