From Monday 26 April, Lordswood and General Hospital become welcome additions onto the growing Bluestar network, as we introduce our new Baby Bluestar S1 route between Lord’s Hill and Shirley. This offers handy new links for Lordswood and Aldermoor, as well serving the popular Retail Parks along Winchester Road for Wickes and The Range, and the local shopping centre in Shirley.

There’s one easy fare for all journeys - £1.60 single for adults and £1 for U16s. Plus, Bluestar Dayrider and Freedom passes can be issued and used on Baby Bluestar S1 too, and we’re pleased to accept the Free Concessionary Passes as per normal conditions.

And if you need to go that little bit further, Bluestar 18 runs between Shirley and the city centre up to every 10 minutes, so it’s so easy to make that connection.
