Bluestar on Facebook

In keeping with our strategy of improving and increasing communication with our customers, Bluestar has launched a “Fan Page” on Facebook, the popular social networking site.

In only the first few weeks, over 100 people have signed up to become “fans”, getting exclusive access to the hottest news around Bluestar and details of local events and happenings, along with details of how to get there by bus.

All news and service updates will be distributed to fans here first, with up-to-the-minute news on any service disruptions, diversions issued to fans around the clock. As the site expands, discussion points and ideas forums will be promoted to get as much feedback as possible from customers using Bluestar’s services.

The site will be edited by the local management team based at Eastleigh. Operations Manager Alex Hornby said “Facebook has become a phenomenon and we are only too keen to utilise this important outlet as another way of improving how we talk to and gain feedback from our customers.”
