Changes to our buses from 14 June 2009

More Sunday buses, earlier and later buses, better timetables for improved reliability – just a few highlights of some changes to our services from 14 June.

Here’s a summary of what’s happening from this date…

Some timetable changes at rush hours, including the extension of certain early and late journeys to help those starting work early and finishing late.

We will run every 20 minutes, Mon-Sat daytime between Fair Oak, Eastleigh and Southampton. The short journeys between Fair Oak and Eastleigh will no longer run – all buses will now run through to Southampton. Changes to timetable during rush hours to improve reliability and provide improved links to Barton Peveril College and Wyvern School.

Sunday journeys to Marwell Zoo will no longer run but are expected to be replaced by a new free service brought to you by The Three Rivers Rail Partnership. Click here to download a PDF with more information.

The tour will start to run from Saturday 20 June

We will also start to run new Nightstar buses N6 to West End, Hedge End & Botley and N16 to Weston, Netley & Hamble from Friday night 5 June 2009. These buses are run in partnership with Eastleigh Borough Council.
