Changes to Prices from 1 February 2009

Some single and return fares will change, all weekly pass prices are frozen and under 16s get to travel anywhere for only £1 as part of a package of changes to Bluestar fares from Sunday 1 February 2009.

Single and Return Fares

Most single fares will rise by 10p and return fares by 20p. We will continue to offer special fare deals between Eastleigh and Fair Oak on Bluestar 2 (£2 single, £3 return) as well as freezing certain prices on Bluestar 18.

Dayrider and Freedom Price Freeze

All Dayrider passes will be frozen in price for the second year running, apart from the Solent Dayrider which will increase from £5.80 to £6.00

All Freedom passes will be frozen in price yet again as we continue to reward those customers making a commitment to traveling with us. Thank you to all pass holders for your support. If you are still buying singles and returns on regular journeys – get Freedom… it could be the biggest saving you could make!

Kids for a Quid!

There’s great news for under 16s – who now only have one fare on all Bluestar buses, right across the whole network.

It will only cost £1 single and £1.50 return to get absolutely anywhere with Bluestar.

And to make your journeys even easier, you can get your hands on an under 16 ID pass free of charge from Southampton Tourist Information Centre or Eastleigh Bus Station Travel Shop to guarantee your fare until your 16th birthday.
