Whilst initially we were very pleased to hear that Portswood Road will reopen to two-way traffic from Monday, 18 August, it appears that services may continue to be affected.

Two-way traffic is reinstated along Portswood Road, allowing Bluestar 2 to resume its normal line of route.

However, parts of the carriageway will be closed meaning traffic controls will be in place. This will also mean the closure of the stop outside Waitrose, heading out of the city.

We apologise for any delay caused to Bluestar 2 whilst this work takes place. It is expected that journeys will return to normal after 5 weeks.
