Roadworks in the Thornhill area will mean that parts of Hinkler Road will cause disruption to Bluestar 18.

Between 18 August and 22 August, Hinkler Road will be closed between Marston Road and Dryden Road.

From the city, buses will run as normal to Tatwin Crescent, turn back at the roundabout and and then travel via Bursledon Road to Warburton Rd, Tunstall Rd and Burgoyne Rd for Eastpoint Centre.

From Thornhill, we will leave Eastpoint Centre, travel via Bursledon Rd and deviate up and down Hinkler Rd, turning around at the roundabout at Tatwin Crescent to two stops at Hinkler Rd.

We will not be able to serve stops at Hinkler Road Shops, and those at the bottom of Warburton Road hill.

Between 26 August and 29 August, Hinkler Road will be closed between Tatwin Crescent and Byron Road.

Buses will run in a complete loop, allowing customers to board and alight at any stop served for all journeys to and from Thornhill. From the city, we will continue via Bursledon Rd to Warburton Rd, straight down to Hinkler Rd and turning back at the roundabout at Tatwin Crescent. Buses will then go back via Hinkler Road and Warburton Road, Tunstall Road to Eastpoint Centre, and then run direct via Bursledon Road into the city.

We will not be able to serve any stops along Hinkler Road between Busledon Road junction and Tatwin Cresent Roundabout.
