One of our single decker buses will be one of the locations for a film project created by students in Eastleigh. Michael Mason, Sam Cooper, Alena Begum and Owen Cox from Barton Peveril Sixth Form College required access to a bus required for a project that forms part of their OCR Media, Communications and Production qualification. They are now a quarter of the way through their 2 year course and the team have written, planned and are now producing a music video in which Owen Cox plays the artist. The project will take over 4 weeks to complete.

Steve Cuff, our Assistant Operations Manager who leads liaisons with the local colleges and students in the local area, was obviously pleased to be able to assist the team and said that the company would always consider any requests to use their facilities as a location for any future projects required from the college.
Bluestar transport over 1,200 students a day to Barton Peveril College, which is based in our home town of Eastleigh, from around South Hampshire, and such initiatives are part and parcel of changing student’s perceptions of bus travel and strengthening relationships between ourselves and our customers.
