From Sunday 2 February, bluestar 8, running between Hythe, Marchwood and Southampton, now gets several journeys on Sundays. The Sunday buses will be run by Velvet and supported by Hampshire County Council, and the buses will likely be purple instead of our blue ones that you may have been used to.

Our Freedom season tickets will be accepted on these Sunday Velvet buses, free of charge.

Bluestar 9 will still be your most convenient option for fast journeys between Hythe, Applemore and Southampton, running every hour on Sundays, whilst Bluestar 12 continues to run between Calmore, Totton and Southampton every hour on Sundays too.
