In the coming weeks and months, there’ll be a range of special offers especially designed to encourage car users to give the bus a try. Just keep checking back on this web site to see what new offers become available…

half price travel all day across southampton

Need another reason to switch to Bluestar? How about all day travel throughout the city for only £1.50… that’s half the price of a normal Southampton Dayrider pass!

Simply fire off an email to us at giveaway@bluestarbus.co.uk, complete with your name and address, and we’ll send you a voucher which will get you this special-priced ticket.

Then, you just hand the voucher to the driver and they will issue you a Southampton Dayrider, and you need only pay £1.50 instead of the usual price of £3.00

This voucher can only be used to buy a Southampton Dayrider on Bluestar 18, but you can then use it on any of our buses within an area bounded by the M27/M271.

The last date of us accepting emails is Friday 8 August to get your voucher, so act quickly to make sure you don’t miss out!

Alex Hornby is seen here launching the Giveaway on Bluestar 9

Alex Hornby, our Operations Manager, is enthusiastic about the Giveaway. “Our Great Big Bluestar Giveaway looks to both reward and celebrate with existing customers, whilst opening up options for car users previously not tempted to give the bus a try. We’ll be offering lots of reasons to use the bus in the coming months, and hope that we can continue to increase the popularity of our services further.”

“We believe that the rising cost of fuel, the expense of parking and the willingness to reduce the carbon footprint will make many commuters and leisure travellers re-consider the option of public transport, and, of course, Bluestar in particular!”
