redwhitebluestar - Here’s a great idea for everyone off to see the Saints…

Bluestar have teamed together with Southampton Football Club to offer some great travel deals to and from the game, every time there’s a match on at St Mary’s stadium. We have decorated one of our double deck buses into special redwhitebluestar colours, designed to highlight to fans the new partnership between Bluestar and Southampton FC.

Your match day tickets and season ticket offer's book now feature two vouchers, enabling some serious money off bus travel, and making traveling with Bluestar a much smarter choice than relying on the car. These vouchers offer big discounts on our dayrider passes as follows:

normally £3
only £2 to ticket holders
Use on all Bluestar, Solent Shuttle and Wilts & Dorset buses in the Southampton area (inside M27/M271)
normally £6.20
only £4 to ticket holders
Use on all Bluestar buses across South Hampshire, as well as Wilts & Dorset buses as far as Ashurst and Testwood.

Both these passes are valid all day on that particular match day, and you can buy them as early on in the day as you want.

  • Just show your match day ticket to the driver and ask which pass you want
  • Pay the driver the discounted price
  • Then, off you go, all day using our buses as many times as you wish

With dayrider, you’ve the opportunity to get out and about all day, whether there’s a bit of shopping to do or you want to meet your mates before the game. You can also have a drink after the match without any worries of drink-driving. It helps reduce your carbon footprint, so you’re travelling smarter, plus there’s no fuel or parking fees to care about. And, when you have finished with your Dayrider, you can pass it on to your friends and family to use in the evening if they’re off out too!

As well as our extensive network to and from Southampton. Bluestar 3 and Bluestar 18 pass the stadium at Northam Road. What’s more, following all evening mid-week games, we’ll also be running an additional double deck bus on Bluestar 18 to Bitterne and Thornhill to make sure you can get home after the game.

Red, White & Bluestar …. It all adds up to create a winning team for Saints fans!
