A National Free Bus Pass is available free of charge to elderly and disabled residents. This entitles the holder to free travel on local buses anywhere in England, between 0930 and 2330 Monday to Friday and all dayon weekends and at Bank Holidays. Eastleigh Borough Council has also provided an enhancement to this scheme allowing eligible residents to travel free of charge at any time of the day provided the journey is continuous and starts within Eastleigh Borough. You cannot get free travel before 0930 or after 2330 Monday to Friday if you board a bus in another area.
Depending on your age, the council also offers travel tokens as an alternative to this pass as part of our concessionary fares scheme. These tokens can be used on our buses throughout Hampshire and outside of Hampshire, providing you don’t change buses as part of your journey.
These passes or tokens are not valid on the New Forest Tour.
