We think you’ll rather like the brand new buses we’re putting on to this popular bus route. You’ll recognise them easily in their smart, star -studded rich blue livery, and you’ll appreciate the stylish colour co-ordinated interior, with comfortable seats trimmed in leather, plenty of legroom and large picture windows.
They’re kinder to the environment with hi-tech, quieter, cleaner, greener engines that meet all the latest stringent emission regulations, as well as a smart tracker system that promotes safe and fuel-efficient driving.
We all know we should be using our cars less, especially for journeys where there is a viable alternative. Well, if you need to hop into Winchester or Southampton, Bluestar 1 is that alternative, and now makes more sense than ever.
The new buses arrived on Bluestar 1 on Monday 9 February, with seven brand new dedicated double deck buses representing a huge £1.5 million investment by Bluestar – and a massive vote of confidence in improved local bus travel.
We celebrated the launch of our new buses on Saturday 7 February in Winchester and Southampton.
