Road Closure: King Copse Avenue, Hedge End - 4-29 June

Please be aware that Kings Copse Avenue in Hedge End will be closed from Monday 4th to Friday 29th June for roadworks at the junction with the Maypole roundabout, affecting Bluestar 3.

To Boorley Green, buses will divert from Heath House Lane via Upper/Lower St Helen's Road, Freegrounds Road, Hobb Lane and Lower Northam Road to resume normal route at Maypole Roundabout.

To Southampton, buses will divert from the Maypole Roundabout via Lower Northam Road, Hobb Labe, Freegrounds Road and Lower/Upper St Helen's Road to Heath House Lane.

Unfortunately this means we will be unable to serve some stops in the area. Please see below for a list of affected stops and your nearest alternative:

Please note, there are no physical visible bus stops on Hobb Lane and Upper St Helens Road, however this is a bus route and a “Hail and Ride” system operates, so please signal clearly to the driver and they will stop for you.

Please also remember that the Maypole Roundabout will have a complete closure on the weekends of 16-17 and 23-24 June, meaning we will be operating a different diversion and altered timetable on these days. More information can be found here.
