With the continuing development of our operations we have two opportunities to join the planning team, based in our Poole office. We are looking for an experienced and committed individual to fill the new role of Schedules Assistant Manager to lead our small busy team. Reporting to the Planning Manager, who you would cover for in his absence, previous experience of scheduling is essential and knowledge of Omnibus software would be an advantage.
You will be able to mentor and support the team, as well as being responsible for the efficiency of schedules across Go South Coast, along with some project work. You will need proven data analysis skills along with timetable and network planning skills.
The role will require building strong relationships with the operation managers and work closely with them to improve efficiencies.
We are also looking for a Commercial Officer to create compliant duties and rotas that strike the right balance between efficiency and employee-friendly working patterns. Additionally there would be involvement with some of our customer facing systems such as Next Stop Announcements, Real Time and company websites.
You will ideally have experience of Omnibus scheduling software, although this is not essential, as full training will be provided. Applications are invited from individuals who can demonstrate analytical, organisational and IT skills, as well as excellent attention to detail. An understanding of public transport operations and good geographical awareness is also essential.
